IMPORTANT PURCHASE INFORMATION & STORE POLICIES

PLEASE READ ALL INFORMATION BEFORE PURCHASING.

We take great pride in the vintage BMX bicycles we restore and sell. Our goal is to provide our customers with beautiful, professionally restored bicycles that capture the appearance and excitement of the original 1980s BMX era.

However, these are vintage bicycles, and customers should understand the following conditions before purchasing.

1. VINTAGE BICYCLE CONDITION

Although this bicycle has been fully restored, it is still considered a USED VINTAGE BICYCLE due to the age of its original frame and fork.

The original frame and fork are nearly 40 years old.

While we strive to produce an outstanding finished product, vintage components may have minor imperfections consistent with their age and previous use.

These may include minor surface irregularities, previous wear, small imperfections beneath the finish, or other characteristics associated with vintage bicycle restoration.

We do our best to address these imperfections during the restoration process, but no vintage restoration should be considered absolutely flawless.

Please carefully examine all photographs before purchasing.

2. POWDER COATING & RESTORATION DISCLOSURE

The original frame and fork have been professionally restored and powder-coated.

Powder coating provides a beautiful, durable finish; however, customers should understand that powder coating is generally thicker than traditional factory-applied paint.

Because of this, some original factory stampings, serial numbers, weld details, or other markings may become partially filled, softened, or less visible after powder coating.

This is a normal possibility during the restoration process and is not considered a defect.

Additionally, powder-coated surfaces may contain minor variations, including small texture differences, slight orange peel, tiny imperfections, or minor variations around welds, joints, and tight areas.

These characteristics are possible with powder-coated vintage bicycle components.

We do not guarantee that all original stampings or serial numbers will remain fully visible after restoration.

3. REPRODUCTION PARTS DISCLOSURE

Unless otherwise specified, all parts installed on this bicycle, other than the original frame and fork, are reproduction components.

We use quality, era-correct reproduction parts to recreate the classic appearance of these vintage BMX bicycles.

Modern reproduction parts may differ slightly from original 1980s components in design, materials, dimensions, logos, or manufacturing methods.

These differences are normal and do not constitute defects.

4. ASSEMBLY, RIDING & SAFETY

This bicycle has been professionally assembled and is intended to be both displayed and enjoyed.

However, vintage BMX bicycles and their components are not designed to meet every modern bicycle performance or safety standard.

Before riding, the purchaser is responsible for inspecting the bicycle and verifying that all components, fasteners, brakes, wheels, and other equipment are properly adjusted and secured.

We recommend having the bicycle inspected by a qualified bicycle mechanic before its first ride, especially following shipping and reassembly.

This is a vintage-style BMX bicycle and is not intended for extreme riding, aggressive freestyle tricks, competitive racing, or abusive use.

Normal riding, handling, and use may cause wear, scratches, chips, or damage to the finish and components.

5. SHIPPING INFORMATION

SHIPPING AVAILABLE TO THE LOWER 48 UNITED STATES ONLY THROUGH THIS LISTING.

All bicycles are carefully prepared for shipment.

Please allow approximately 2–3 business days for packing and shipping preparation after your order has been processed.

Shipping preparation may require partial disassembly of the bicycle to ensure it fits securely inside the shipping carton.

Depending on the bicycle and packaging requirements, components such as handlebars, pedals, wheels, or the seat and seat post may be removed or repositioned.

Some reassembly will be required upon delivery.

Customers are responsible for properly reassembling and adjusting the bicycle before riding.

We recommend professional bicycle shop assembly if you are unfamiliar with bicycle assembly or adjustment.

Shipping transit times may vary depending on the destination, carrier schedules, and circumstances beyond our control.

We are not responsible for carrier-related delays.

Please inspect all packages immediately upon delivery and notify us promptly if you discover any shipping damage. Retain all original packaging and photographs for any applicable carrier insurance claim.

6. ALL SALES FINAL – NO RETURNS, EXCHANGES OR REFUNDS

ALL BICYCLES ARE SOLD AS IS.

Due to the vintage nature of our bicycles and the extensive restoration work involved, all sales are final.

NO RETURNS.

NO EXCHANGES.

NO REFUNDS.

NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW.

By purchasing this bicycle, the buyer acknowledges that they have reviewed the description, photographs, disclosed restoration details, and applicable store policies.

The buyer understands that this is a restored vintage bicycle containing original vintage components and modern reproduction parts.

7. PHOTOGRAPHS & PRODUCT REPRESENTATION

We make every effort to provide clear, detailed photographs of our bicycles.

Please review all available photographs carefully before purchasing.

Colors and finishes may appear slightly different depending on lighting conditions, camera settings, computer monitors, and mobile device screens.

High-gloss powder-coated finishes may also appear different under natural sunlight compared to indoor lighting.

Minor photographic differences are not considered product defects.

If you have questions regarding the condition, components, restoration, or finish of this bicycle, please contact us before completing your purchase.

8. COPYRIGHT & PHOTOGRAPHY PROTECTION

ALL PHOTOGRAPHS AND ORIGINAL PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS ARE THE PROPERTY OF FAT LIP USA.

Our photographs are created to accurately represent the bicycles we restore and offer for sale.
